I just finished reading my first book in 3 years
I just finished "How To Win at The Sport of Business" by Mark Cuban in a Starbucks in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle. Somewhere between finishing my draft proposal of a new Website, providing a status of a proposal (I needed to get out last night) and a phone call discussing a new iOS/Android project opportunity with a new friend I realized that I had 20 pages left of a 75 page book that I should have completed a week ago. But this is one of 4 books that I was more than half way done reading, and if you notice some key words in the second sentence of this paragraph, I am often in a "draft" phase of several things at one time, which leaves me inefficient and frustrated.
I have to celebrate this small win and let it snowball; thus I opened my Squarespace account, navigated the 5 blog drafts and am posting this, my first blog post.
I won't bore anyone with a detailed review of the book other than it is good collection of short blogs that Mark Cuban put together to provide value for business readers. I would recommend it as a good reference and quick read for those times you need a restart.
